engagement rings are the sign of commitment for a person, in western culture rings are considered to be the commitment between two persons who have got engaged or married. In United Kingdom engagement rings are mostly worn by the girls and rings can have stones or crystals in it. Engagement rings are also used as wedding rings in some other cultures. These rings are supposed as a promise to future marriage, may be worn in the right or left hand. Price of the engagement ring vary according to the metal used or the stone used in it. Mostly diamonds are preferred on all other stones, since it’s the most precious stone ever.
