The early bird catches the worm is not just a cliche there are great deals on cruise lines for those who call in for the travel cruise discount early. Some have last minute deals but nine times out of ten the early deal will be cheaper for you.
Take into account everything that you would need to pay for. Drinks are costly on cruises even though food is usually on them. The other main cost you would have to watch out for is not common unless you get hungry at night. But tipping room service is always a small cost to take into consideration.
