The Greenhouse Mister: Key to Healthy Plants

February 13th, 2010

Plants, like people and animals, need water to survive.  This means that commercial growers have to use methods which provide just the right amount of hydration so that crops thrive.  Too much or too little water can kill plants.  Greenhouses usually use some type of greenhouse mister which supplies continuous watering, in the right amounts, and at the ideal time.  Plants often have different watering needs during the different stages of their life.  The systems are typically on timers to ensure that the plants continually have exactly what they need.  Some systems can also be programmed to deliver needed chemicals, at present intervals.
