New Ideas For NFL Football
December 14th, 2009
Every year the couachs and the owners and the GM’s of all the different NFL Football franchises get together to discuss things like, revenue sharing, trade deadlines , and other ideas for how to improve the game in general.
But it is the competition committee that really gets down to business.
There we have the old coaches, the current players chairmens and all kinds of guys that really want to improve the game of football.
One idea that I would like them to discuss, is the rule about replays on fumbles.
If a guy fumbles, and the referree blows the play dead, EVERYTHING stops. The players from both sides just cease to go for the ball or to tackle the guy with the ball and everything.
So is it, that they can review that play, and then decide that it WAS a fumble? And then they give the ball to who ever had the bal when the play was ruled dead? Thats not fair, what would have happened if they had never blew the whistle?
They dont know!! And thats why they should not be able to review the play- because there is no fair way to say WHO would have ended up with the ball.
