An awesome video clip about Perth Mint gold coins

When a friend recently returned from WA she bought with her some interesting coins that she had picked up along the way. Several of the coins had images of native Australian animals etched into the face of the coin. When I asked her where she got them from she mentioned that they were Perth mint gold coins. When I looked closer at the coins I noticed the ‘P’ mint mark had been etched into the face of the coin. This is the official mints mark which allows dealers and collectors to universally recognize that the coin has been crafted from that particular mint.
