Some Real Estate Listings Are More Environmentally Friendly Than Others

As a buyer looking to purchase real estate that is more sustainable than other properties generally available on the market, you should dig a little deeper to find out just how eco-friendly home you’re interested in actually is. You might see a listing that a home is environmentally friendly but when you actually look into the property only minor changes have been made. For example a piece of real estate that has compact fluorescent lightbulbs is definitely a step in the right direction as far as I was being green but it’s not as good as a homeowner that is taking it a step further and install solar panels or wind turbines to supplement electricity to the home.
