My Mom Is Sitting On Tax Lien Certificates

When I was going through my mom’s closet the other day I found some documents. When I took them to mom I asked her if she had any idea what they were and if they had any value before I threw them away. Mom told me that they were tax lien certificates that she had purchased a few years ago. I asked her if she had ever collected on these certificates, and she said no. I told her that they could be worth a little more than or she could possibly own a few pieces of property that she has no idea she even own.
