How Often Should I Feed My Dog?

I have a puppy, born 8-9-09. When I have trained other puppies, they would have a bm about 20-30 minutes after eating. This pup does not and I am having trouble figuring when to know when he will go. He is currently eating Purina puppy food. Any suggestions? I am also curious as to how ofter to feed my dog? It seems as if he is always hungry. I feed him two times a day, once in the morning and again at night. I feed him about two cups of dry food each time. The problem is that throughout the day he seem so hungry!
