Going to a Halloween Party

Every year, my parents have a Halloween party. They never made any of us kids attend before, it was always up to us. Since I would rather take my kids trick-or-treating, I usually don’t go. Apparently, Mom changed her mind about making us attend this year. Now we have to go, or upset her. I hate doing something that upsets Mom, so I’m going. I have to buy a men’s robin hood costume because my fiance would look totally hot as Maid Marian. Maybe I can convince my brothers to be my Merry Men. I think that would shock Mom, me actually putting the effort behind a group costume!
