When you look at the difference in price between gold eagle coins or more accurately, American gold eagle coins, versus the cost of Canadian maple leaf bullion coins, you may be puzzled by the fact that they have a nice price gap.
The American eagles are usually more expensive than the maples, and the reason for this is that there is a higher premium on gold eagles. I do believe that investing in gold eagle coins is a worthwhile objective because you’re investing in a legal tender item that has tremendous following and value.
Put plainly, any gold investment is a good thing. Take a portion of your wealth and buy the tangible stuff. Hold on to it for the long term and you will be glad you did.
