Planning for Retirement

I have been considering early retirement for the past few years. I know that it will be a while before I am able to do it, but I like to plan in advance. I want to be sure of the Ira Distribution rules before I make a final decision. The last thing I need is to have to pay big penalties right after leaving my job. I have found out quite a bit of information by reading on the internet, but each company has different rules. I think that too many people do not take the time to find things out until it is too late.
