Concrete stain defined- Concrete Stain aka Concrete Acid Stain refers to type of cement treatment with chemicals, resulting in coloring reaction. The chemical solution comprises mainly of water, acid and inorganic salts. Mentioned chemicals react to natural minerals within the concrete, resulting in a chemical reaction in the form of color. Old and new concrete surfaces are eligible for staining as well as polymer overlays and self-leveling products. If treated correctly with wax and or sealant, stain can be very long lasting.
