December 8th, 2009
When it comes to decorating your bathroom nothing finishes the job off quite like a mirror. Most bathroom mirrors add a unique look to a bathroom allowing it look more spacious and bright. There are a few things you need to consider before buying a mirror and here are a few.
You need to decide first of all on the material, wood, metal or plastic? This will depend on the design of your bathroom but ultimately it will depend on your taste. Metal and wood mirrors can suffer obvious erosion due to the humidity from showering and bathing so if you go for this option be sure you know how to maintain the mirror.
Many people don’t know how to select the right size, however it is generally good practice to match the width of you mirror with that of the sink. This helps the design remain in proportion without loosing the effect of the mirror.
