There are many interesting facts about mirrors. As early as 77 AD, glass mirrors backed with gold leaf are mentioned by roman authors. A physicist named Ibn Sahl was said to have invented parabolic mirrors. These type of mirrors were experimented on with curved polished iron mirrors. These were used with optics. Ibn al-Haytham talked about convex and concave mirrors in both cylindrical and spherical geometries. Many experiments were done with mirrors. Most of these experiments were made to find the problem solving the point on a convex mirror and finding at which point a ray will be reflected.
