Vinyl Siding: the Final Touch
March 9th, 2010
When I look at homes, I have several criteria. Some are absolute necessities, such as that it be located in a safe neighborhood and that there be enough space in the back yard for my dog to run. Some are things I would like to have, including a laundry room upstairs and cross-ventillation in my bedroom. Then, there is that final category: things I had never considered but, upon recognizing their importance, I put them at the top of my priority list. Most recently, vinyl siding has fallen into that niche. I not only like the look of it, but I also am impressed with its durability and its relatively mild use of nonsustainable products. In the future, I plan to make it a requirement that my home is covered by this type of siding.
