Try These Tips to Remove Carpet Stains

Whether you want to get your carpet ready for a thorough cleaning or have a few unsightly stains to remove, there are a few tips which can make the job easier. Remember to blot liquids instead of rubbing them. Either white paper towels or a clean white cloth can be used. Rinse the spot and let it dry as many times as necessary to remove carpet stains. If your stain consists of semi-solids, such as pudding, scraped it off using a spoon, then rinse the stain and let it dry. When using cleaning solvent, apply it to a cloth, then blot the stain, rinse, and let it dry. Shop vacs are a great tool for removing stains quickly and efficiently.
