Led light bulbs for my cross-country bicycle trip
March 11th, 2010
So, there are a couple Buck/Boost power supplies I’ve been looking at which might be able to drive led light bulbs for my cross-country bicycle trip. I’m going to use one of those folding solar panels which will be able to supply an output above 12 volts if the sun is full and as much as 3 or 4 volts even if there are completely overcast skies. That’s why I’m going to use a buck/boost supply, because that way it will be able to raise, as well as lower, the voltage if the solar panel puts out such a low voltage. Anybody got any suggestions as to which buck/boost supply I should use?
