What Causes the White Film in a Geographical Tongue?

One of the major causes of the white film in a geographical tongue is dry mouth. This is an all too common condition that may people suffer from and can be brought on by several different factors. Some of the more common factors of the white film are post nasal drip, sleeping with the mouth open or some types of medication. Other factors that cause a geographical tongue include sinus infections or even allergies. The good news is it is easy to get rid of a geographical tongue by using a tongue scraper or by using a specially formulated mouth spray.
