Skipping meals cannot help you to lose belly fat!

Eating a proper meal is essential because a lot of processes going on within the body depend on the food that we intake for energy. When the intake levels are low, the body switches over to starvation mode. In this mode, the acidity levels in the stomach rise and hence to equalize it, the body starts to get energy out of its fat reserves. Though this sounds positive for those who want to get rid of fat, it is a very unhealthy approach. To lose belly fat, regulate your calorie intake and split up your 3 meals into 5 or 6 so that the blood sugar level is under control and also the assimilation rates are balanced. Also this approach can keep you away from hunger and hence you will not be going behind junk foods. So eat healthy to lose weight.
