March 6th, 2010
There is nothing more frustrating than to get on your computer and wait for it to access the information you need. None of us likes to wait for our computer to startup or for processes to execute. This usually happens due to fragmented files. Pieces of various files get separated from their block of storage on your computer forcing the system to search for the pieces of the fragmented files in order to open them. If you do not run the defrag computer process after a lot of computer use, or heavy use, you will experience this sluggish behavior. Make sure to keep your computer running at its best by running the defrag when you run other maintenance programs.
