Facebook threatening behaviour and how it should not be tolerated

May 6th, 2010

Facebook threats should not be tolerated. The website, in my opinion, reveals too much information about an individual. People should be more cautious on the website when uploading images and information about themselves. It is because of this that people are able to find out more information about you and become your worst nightmare/enemy/stalker. At the same time, more security measures should be implemented to protect the users on Facebook. Facebook threats cannot be tolerated as people use Facebook to escape from their everyday lives which involve a lot of stress. People want to relax and enjoy conversations with friends and old acquaintances. Facebook should have a program to automatically kick of users with inappropriate threatening behaviour. Not only does a user have to report the abuse, but the online program should be able to detect this kind of behaviour and possibly not even permit it. Sooner or later, we will get to this point technologically.
