I can’t believe I am sitting here under a whole pile of brochures. I think we have pictures of every one of the Kauai Condos that are available for rent. I guess I went a bit overboard, but who can blame me. We are headed to Hawaii. I still can’t believe I am saying that! I have dreamed my whole life about getting to see the pacific. I just never knew it would be coming true. In just two short months, I will be living out my dream. Well, if I can find my way out of this pile of brochures!

This summer, my husband and I, have decided to take a once in a lifetime vacation. We are so excited to be going on one of the most popular european river cruises. We are both of Croatian decent, so we have decided to spend a few weeks touring our roots, before heading onto the cruise. The cruise promises to show us Coastal Croatia and Zagreb. I wish my father was still living so he could go with us. His parents were from Zagreb, and he always wanted to go to meet his cousins. I am so lucky to be getting this chance.

After a country to talk about our plans for India and the onward journey, he comes with a proposal that we can use some several days in India and see a little more by Flights To Agra. He wants to sell us a 10 day trip to “only” U.S. $ 370th. Gradually it dawns on us that this view is not Government Approved Tourist information anyway. Unfortunately, we are not as many opportunities - We arrived on a Sunday. A frame maker (as we travel with) is closed. All official tourist information is closed. We recognize not really where we are nor … We allow ourselves to “persuade” to take their recommended hotel (not much choice!) and stay us for 1800rs (almost 300kr.) for a night.

We checked out of our taupo accommodation and got on the road on our way to Wellington. We only had the one night in Taupo as a pit stop to get some rest. We had driven down from Paihia which is quite a big drive so I really needed a rest as I had done all the driving. We were heading to the Sevens which are held in the capital most years and it is pretty much the biggest party in the country. We made the journey last year and it was well worth it so we decided to do it again this year.

When I got off the bus the other day, I saw a sign that I had never seen before. I figured that it must be new. There was this little sign, not far from the bus stop, and it had information on some Hilton Head Island Rentals. I wrote down the website information, and took it home so I could look it up. I wanted to find out if the deals were for real. When I got there, I told my wife about the sign, and about how I was thinking that we should take a vacation some time in the near future.

Consulté con mi agencia de viajes cuáles eran los lugares turísticos de moda en
Latino América. Ellos me comentaron acerca de un país del cual yo sinceramente
conocía muy poco: Belice. Ellos me hablaron de cómo el turismo en belice ha ido
creciendo rápidamente y me dijeron que sus playas eran las mejores del
continente. Así que me decidí a aventurarme a este nuevo paraíso. Por suerte
escuché a mi agencia de viajes. Me recomendaron el mejor hotel para disfrutar mi

Our society has to much of everything. One of the things that I have grown to realize is that much of the World is controlled through the mass media. The mass media tries to control people by broadcasting images and message that they want to promote. A lot of it comes down to advertising and setting social standards and expectations. I have been taking my family in a different direction. For example, when we go to the beach my family wears modest swimwear not the skimpy bikinis that somehow have become the norm in our society. It is important that individuals fight back and not allow the media and society not control the most precious things in our lives; like our children.
