A little Christmas cheer in January

I know most people are glad to be rid of Christmas usually by December 24th, but I like a little Christmas cheer throughout the year, which is why I’m looking to buy stuff now when it gets super cheap of eBay and other online places. I’m the kind of person who likes to keep my Christmas tree up until Valentines Day, and even then I’m reluctant to take it down. I start decorating for Christmas before Halloween, which is a pretty weird combination of decorations for those two holidays, I can tell you that. Santa and skeletons in coffins, it’s prettty funny.

The Best Acoustic Songs

I’ve noticed something very interesting about acoustic music lately. I’ve played my guitar for a while and tried to write acoustic songs, and after playing for so long, I think I’ve recognized a pattern in the best acoustic songs. Of course, there is no rule that will automatically produce good acoustic music. But I’ve seen that the best acoustic songs are simple and robust.

By simple I mean that some of the best acoustic songs ever only have four chords. A lot of those simple songs keep a very easy chord progression, or even the same progression throughout the song. By robust, I mean that they are adaptable. The melody of the songs can vary in many ways around that simple riff. As an acoustic artist, I’ve learned alot by playing the best acoustic songs.

Master at heart

I want to learn to play guitar, so what should I do first? It’s funny how when we want to take up a new talent of sorts we tend to have nowhere to turn to get information on that hobby. We must find someone who also enjoys it and get the information from them in regards to “how to start”.

That’s why when I found a Jamorama Review online, I knew I was in luck. Here I could read about a program that would help me from start to finish on my new venture of learning to play guitar. The Internet provided me with the right tools to choose the right program, I am very happy I found this review.

Saving Money With Ares

I used to load my iPod with music from iTunes for 99 cents a song, but when they raised their prices to $1.29 and I lost my job, I couldn’t afford their prices. I thought that I would have to stop downloading music and I was really depressed about it. Then my old college buddy told me about Ares. I had always thought that file sharing was illegal, but he told me about how Ares wasn’t owned by any corporation, so it’s 100% safe and 100% legal. I started using Ares right away and now my iPod is chock full of tunes!

How to Become a Wedding Photographer

Jason has been a photographer for five years. Being a photographer was his dream since he was nine years old. His parents had purchased a film camera for his ninth birthday. From that day on he learned everything he could about photography.  As he learned more and more he got into portrait photography.  He became one of the best well known wedding photographers in his town. Jason has gone to so many weddings in the last three years that he cannot remember the exact number. Because of all the recommendations he is extremely busy. He does not think of photography as being a job.

A myriad of niches

photography is a skill that encapsulates many different types of niche specialties. For example, some photographers specialize in areas such as: portraits, industrial, scientific, still life or documentary-style photography, to name just a few. Within a specialty there are many other niches. Withing Still life there are inherant other specifications that define a photographer’s work. For further example, there are drip/pour specialists who only shoot moving liquid, moving car specialists, and even surgical and operating room specialists. Portrait photographers take pictures of individuals or groups of people. Some may work on location or in a studio. Portrait photographers who own and operate their own business have many responsibilities in addition to taking pictures. They must arrange for advertising, schedule appointments, set and adjust equipment, purchase supplies, keep records, bill customers, pay bills, and—if they have employees—hire, train, and direct their workers. Many also process their own images, design albums, and mount and frame the finished photographs.
