Disappointed in Lessons Not Learned

My son and his wife have really gotten themselves in over their heads, that’s for sure. I have watched them, semi-silently, for the last several years, spending more than they could afford. Lord only knows how many credit cards they have between the two of them. Now, they’re talking about doing a debt consolidation so that they only have one payment each month instead of many. I don’t know if that’s good or bad because it will wipe out their credit card debt. What if they charge them up again too? I wonder, didn’t I teach that son of mine anything in his childhood?
