Citroen Lease Rate

I am trying to figure out how to get the best rate when I go to sign a Citroen lease. Is it better to negotiate with the lease dealer or should I look for outside financing and try to save money there? A car is not cheap and I need to try to cut the costs wherever I possibly can. I’m just confused as to how to go about doing this. No one in my family has ever leased a car before so they aren’t able to help me and all too often friends give me conflicting information. I may go in and take my chances. Otherwise I’ll never get anything new.
