Learning How to Sing High Notes without Straining
December 7th, 2009
My friend wanted to learn how to sing high notes and not strain so he went to see an expensive singing coach. The coach had him singing scales and doing a breathing practice where you do a deep inhale to your diaphragm and then listen to yourself slowly exhale with a hissing sound. These techniques will help you sing higher, but I don’t know if you will ever sound like Chris Cornell or Robert Plant. Some people just seem to have a natural high singing voice. It is something you will have to figure out for yourself when you start employing quality singing techniques.
