This summer, my husband and I, have decided to take a once in a lifetime vacation. We are so excited to be going on one of the most popular european river cruises. We are both of Croatian decent, so we have decided to spend a few weeks touring our roots, before heading onto the cruise. The cruise promises to show us Coastal Croatia and Zagreb. I wish my father was still living so he could go with us. His parents were from Zagreb, and he always wanted to go to meet his cousins. I am so lucky to be getting this chance.

Being able to find good furniture on a tight budget used to be a real challenge. I used to spend days, sometime even weeks, looking for the right piece at the right price. For the majority of people when they start budgeting and create a budget planner, it’s because they are already in trouble, this needs to change. From today in order to achieve financial stability you have to view your budget from a point of strength, a point of action and not reaction. Your goal is to take back control of your finances and thus control of your life. Living beyond your financial means is not freedom but you are willingly making yourself a slave to debt, which can lead to crisis in so many other areas. Think about the things you could do with your money if you had no debt. Save more, give more, start a business, relieve stress and the list goes on. This is possible but it all starts with becoming a budget planner and becoming a responsible steward of your money.

I was blessed to have six children and I love them all dearly, but I have no plans to ever live with any of them when I get old. My life has evolved around my kids for thirty years, and I plan on doing something for myself when I retire. After researching several senior living communities in the area, I have already decided where I plan on living. I want to do the things that I could not do when I had small children. I have always wanted to join a gym, and the location I chose has a very nice one.
